Visa 485 – Post-Higher Education Work stream
Introduction	This visa is granted to international students who have completed a course or program in Australia and wish to remain in the country temporarily to live and work.

With this visa, you can	Temporarily live in Australia, typically for 2 to 3 years, to study and work after graduation.
To be eligible for this visa, you must:	Be under 35 years of age (some exceptions apply). Be in Australia and hold a student visa or a Bridging Visa A/B within the 6 months prior to applying. Meet English language proficiency requirements. Have completed a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Australia within the last 6 months from a CRICOS-registered education provider.

Visa 485 – Post-Vocational Education Work stream
Introduction	This is a type of visa granted to international students who have graduated in fields with high demand for skilled workers in Australia, allowing them to live and work temporarily in the country.

With this visa, you can	Live in Australia for up to 18 months to study and work. Travel in and out of Australia unlimited times while your visa is valid. Note: You must find your own job; the Department of Home Affairs does not arrange employment for visa holders.
To be eligible for this visa, you must:	Be under 35 years of age. Be in Australia at the time of application. Hold a valid Student visa or Bridging Visa A/B in the past 6 months. Meet English language proficiency requirements Apply for a skills assessment in the occupation you nominate from the skilled occupation list . Hold a qualification relevant to an occupation on the skilled occupation list .
