Visitor Visa - Subclass 600

• Stay in Australia for up to 12 months.
• Visit your family members, relatives, or friends in Australia.
• Study or attend a short-term training course for up to 3 months.

Note: You may also consider the Tourist stream of the Visitor Visa (subclass 600), which allows you to visit family or friends in Australia without needing a sponsor.

• Have a valid sponsor, usually a family member.
• Travel to Australia for tourism or family visit purposes only.

• Stay in Australia for up to 12 months. For frequent travelers, the Visitor Visa (subclass 600) can be granted for up to 10 years, allowing a stay of up to 3 months per visit.
• Travel within Australia, visit families, relatives, and friends, or other purposes, except for work and medical treatment.
• Undertake business activities.

• Have sufficient financial to cover your expenses while in Australia.
• Hold a valid passport.
• Be either inside or outside Australia at the time of application and when the Department processes your visa application.

• Stay in Australia for up to 3 months to carry out business activities.
• Participate in contract negotiations.
• Conduct business or employment-related transactions.
• Attend conferences, trade fairs, or seminars (you must not be paid by the event organizers for attending).

• Genuinely intend to visit Australia for business and/or tourism purposes.
• Be outside Australia both at the time of application and when the Department processes your visa application.
